Arrive Cochin international airport

Meeting and at the airport

Transfer by car to Fort Cochin and check in at your hotel

DAY 02 - COCHIN

In the morning visit Dutch palace and The Synagogue

Walk through Jew Town

In the afternoon visit Chinese fishing nets and walk through Fort Cochin discovering that it is the first European city built outside Europe

On a clear day take a boat ride to view sun setting over Arbian sea

DAY 03 - COCHIN / MUNNAR


Before breakfast, you will take the first zinger ferry across the island to see fishing harbour and the market

Return to your hotel

After breakfast leave for Munnar

Arrive Munnar late in the afternoon

DAY 04 - MUNNAR


Breakfast at the hotel

A local guide will then take you on a full day tour to a private tea plantaion

Spend time with tea estate workers, trying plucking tea leaves

You will then have lunch at a colonial tea estate manager's bungalow

Visit the tea factory

Return to Munnar where your hotel is located

DAY 05 - MUNNAR/ PERIYAR


Breakfast at the hotel

In the morning leave for Periyar

In the afternoon proceed on a visit to elephant camp

Later a guide will take you on a tour to the spices garden - to know about the spices grown in this region, the plants of the spices, its processing and some interesting history

Evening visit a demonstration of Kerala's ancient art - Kalaripattu

Kerala is known for its exotic cuisines and it is really an art cooking these dishes. We will participate in a cooking class with dinner by an expert chef.

DAY 06 - PERIYAR / ALLEPPEY


Breakfast at the hotel

Early departure to Alleppey

On arrival check in onboard the house boat

Cruise along the backwaters with lunch on board

The house boat will be anchored near a village at around 1700 hrs

Dinner will be cooked on board

Overnight on board the house boat.



Day 07 - ALLEPPEY / DELHI


Breakfast on board the house boat

Transfer by car to Cochin airport with a stop at Fort Cochin

Arrive Delhi late in the evening

Check in at the hotel

Overnight at the hotel in Delhi



DAY 08 - DELHI / AGRA


Breakfast at the hotel

In the morning leave for Agra

Arrive Agra and check in at the hotel

Evening visit a classical dance programme on Taj Mahal

DAY 09 - AGRA


Early in the morning we will visit Taj Mahal

Return to the hotel for breakfast

Later in the day we will visit Agra Fort - Red Fort

Later visit Itimad - Ud -Daulah

In the afternoon visit Fatehpur Sikri

DAY 10 - AGRA / JHANSHI / KHAJURAHO


Breakfast at the hotel

In the morning leave by train to Jhanshi

On arrival you will be met by your driver and drive to Khajuraho

Arrive Khajuraho and check in at the hotel

In the evening proceed on a visit to sound and light show on Khajuraho

DAY 11 - KHAJURAHO / VARANASI

In the morning visit western and eastern group of temples

Return to the hotel and check out

Later transfer to the airport to connect your flight to Varanasi

Arrive Varanasi and check in at the hotel

In the evening your guide will take you around the ghats and you will view the evening arathi - a ritual performed every evening on the banks of river Ganges

DAY 12 - VARANASI / DELHI


Early morning boat ride on River Ganges

Later walk through the narrow streets of Varanasi

Checkout and drive to Saranath

After visiting the Stupas, visit the archaeological museum which houses ancient treasures such as the amazing and well preserved 3rd century BC lion capital from the Ashoka pillar which has been adopted as India's national emblem. A huge stone umbrella carved with Buddhist symbols, bas reliefs, sculptures and Buddha images.

Lunch in the city - you can also spend time to see the weavers working on the Varanasi silk - a light silk which can be used for making garments, window screens, bed spreads and table cloths

Drive to the airport to board your flight to Delhi

Arrive Delhi and check in at the hotel

DAY 13 - DELHI


Breakfast at the hotel

In the morning drive to Rajpath

Drive along the diplomatic enclave, drive along the narrow lanes of Old Delhi - the Chandni Chowk

Drive along Red Fort built by Shah Jahan which displayed the pomp and power of the Mughal empire

Visit Gurudwara Bangala Sahiband spend some time in the community kitchen where huge quantity of food is prepared and served to everyone irrespective of caste and religion

Lunch at a local speciality restaurant in Khan Market

After lunch visit Humayun Tomb

Later walk along Lodhi Gardens

Overnight at the hotel in Delhi



DAY 14 - DEPARTURE
