DAY 02 - HYDERABAD

In the morning visit Salar Jung Museum which displays great textiles and jades and later visit adshahi Ashurkhana and new classical Residency
After lunch visit Chau Mahalla which displays culture and history of Nizam
Visit Qutb Shahi at Charminar and the Jama Masjid

DAY 03 - HYDERABAD
Breakfast at the hotel
In the morning visit the rugged hill citadel of Golconda , head quaters of the Qutb Shahis and the nearby toms of the Shahi sultans and a charming site museum
Lunch at an outside restaurant - you can try the famous Hyderabadi Birayani
Evening free to visit the markets

DAY 04 - HYDERABAD / BIDAR / GULBARGHA

You will have to start little earlier to day at around 0700 hrs
Drive to Bidar, the capital of Bahmani sultans in the 15th century, visit the madrasa of Mahmud Gawan , with traces of brilliant tile work, the gateways and palace in the nearby fort - you will be visiting some of the finest examples of Deccani architecture.
In the afternoon visit the tombs of Chaukhandi , Ahmad Shah and Amir Barid.
Later drive to Gulbargha
On the way visit a late 11th century Chalukya temple

DAY 05 - GULBARGHA / BIJAIPUR
Breakfast at the hotel
In the morning leave for a visit of Gulbargha exploring the first capital of the Bahmani sultans and later visit dargah of Gesu Daraz - women are not permitted inside the tomb.
After lunch drive to Kumtagi which was the 17th century Adil Shahi pleasure resort with its interesting water palaces and courted pavilion wint traces of mural paintings
Continue your drive to Bijaipur

DAY 06 - BIJAIPUR / BADAMI

In the morning visit the capital of the 16-17th century Adil Shahi sultans , including the Golf Gumbos, the tome of Muhammad Adil Shah , Jama Masjid , Mihtar Mahal, towered gateway with wood like struts in the carved stone, and then take a stroll through the citadel in the middle of the city to visit an early mosque built of re used temple pieces and the various palaces
After lunch visit great brass canon know as the Lord of the Plain and Ibrahim Rauza , the splendid funerary complex of Ibrahim Adil Shah
Drive to Badami
Arrive Badami and check in at the hotel

DAY 07 - BADAMI
Breakfast at the hotel
In the morning visit the magnificent well preserved Vaishnava carvings in the four cave temple of early Chalukya rules of the Deccan
In the afternoon, explore Patadkal, the great 8th century complex of royal Chalukya period temples

DAY 08 - BADAMI / HOSPET

In the morning leave for Aihole to visit more early Chalukya temples, in the cool of the morning we climb Meguti hill to see the Jain temple of 634, the earliest dated temple in the South India, from where we get a great view over the town, we then descend to the town to visit the temple complex, the largest of these is the Durga temple with splendid sculptures in its surrounding colonnade, the adjacent Lad khan temple is of interest for its sloping roofs that imitate thatch construction, the small Archaeological Museum in front has a splendid Ambika removed from the Meguti Jain temple.
Drive to Hampi and check in at the hotel
In the evening we will visit a photo museum on the sites of Hampi

DAY 09 - HAMPI

40 minutes drive we will arrive at Hampi
On this day we will visit the sacred part of Hampi covering Virupaksha temple and Vitalla temple
We will take a coracle ride on Tungabdhadra River

DAY 10 - HAMPI

In the morning we will drive to Hampi
This day we will visit the Royal part - palaces, stables, ceremonial platforms, pools and pavilions

DAY 11 - HAMPI / CHICKMAGALUR

We will leave for Chickmagalur - a seven hours drive
On arrival check in at the hotel

In the morning we will visit Belur and Halebid which are great examples of Hoysala type of temple
In the afternoon we will have lunch at a coffee estate

DAY 13 - CHICKMAGALUR / MYSORE

In the morning we will drive to Saravanabelagola to visit the 16 meter high naked statue of Lord Gomateeshwara
Later we will drive to Mysore
In the evening we will visit Devaraja Fruit and vegetable market which is said to be one of the most colourful markets in India

DAY 14 - MYSORE
Breakfast at the hotel
In the morning we will visit maharaja Palace and Museum
In the after noon we will walk along the town
If it is a Sunday we will visit the illumination at the palace
Dinner at Lalitha Mahal palace - one of the many palaces in Mysore now turned to a hotel

DAY 15 - MYSORE / BANGALORE

In the morning drive to Bangalore
Arrive Bangalore and check in at the hotel
